Warranty Policy

INAir warrants, at the time of delivery, that all furnished articles shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. Extent of warranty shall be the repair or replacement of any unit returned during warranty period, and is limited to electromechanical/mechanical assemblies, and/or electronic parts/assemblies replaced at the time of repair or overhaul. All express and implied warranties are limited in duration to the warranty period, no warranties, express or implied, will apply after this period. In no event shall INAir be liable for incidental or consequential damages, nor incur further obligation or liability by reason of sale or use of any such product. INAir shall not be resposible for equipment removal, shipping, examination, or reinstallation.

Warranty Service Will Not Include Repair Of Failures Caused By:
  • Defects due to tampering.
  • Improper use or handling.
  • Improper storage or operation.
  • Article not maintained in accordance with the published instructions.
  • Any attempt to repair seemingly defective units.
  • Maintenance by anyone other than:

Each unit will have a return to service tag affixed indicating the date that warranty will start.

Bench Test and Certification:
On units that are only bench tested and found to be within tolerance as described by the manufacturers specifications, there will be no warranty implied.

Repairs:
INAir liability hereunder is conditioned on defects becoming apparent within twelve (12) months from the date of shipment of such item to the first user. This warranty does not give full coverage on any failure during this time period, but is limited to the repair and replacement of the parts and/or subassemblies replaced during the previous service action.

Overhaul:
INAir liability hereunder is conditioned on defects becoming apparent within twelve (12) months from the date of shipment of such item to the first user. This warranty covers labor and parts previously replaced by INAir at time of overhaul.

No Fault Found Returns:
If a unit is removed from an aircraft and found to meet all of the manufactures test specifications, the customer will be responsible for the bench test and recertification charges.

Electronic Components:
Electronic components are tested and their function verified at the time of test. There is no way to verify the service life of and electronic component without destroying it. Therefore it is INAir policy to warranty only the electronic components replaced at the time of repair/overhaul.

Gyro Overhaul Warranty:
Gyroscopes that have undergone overhaul will be covered by warranty period of eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment of such item to the first user. This warranty also includes free run-in every six (6) months as recommended by most manufacturers. This warranty will not cover any damage caused by improper packing and handling, as evidenced by a shock watch affixed to every overhauled gyroscope. Parts and labor required to correct any damage as a result of improper handling will be considered the responsibility of the customer. INAir will provide packing and shipping instructions upon request.
